After another big Sunday in the US, Week 14 of the NFL ends on Monday Night with the clash between the visiting L.A Rams (8-4) taking on the home team the Arizona Cardinals (10-2). This matchup looks to be ideal for a standalone primetime match and should be a juicy one for Draftstars contests.

Fantasy Overview

 

A high total but two very good defences means this game could go either way. A shootout between Matt Stafford’s arm and Kyler Murray’s legs or a beatdown by Aaron Donald/Jalen Ramsey and Chandler Jones. I actually have more confidence in the home side after their exploits after their bye, scoring 33 points against the Bears and giving their No.1 WR in Deandre Hopkins another week to get over his hamstring injury. The top three players on the slate are nearly automatic plays but likely you can only afford two at best. Good slate this one. 

 

Love It - Sony Michel $6,510

With Henderson on the COVID list, Michel is in the position to handle a full workload and deliver another strong fantasy performance even in a middle of the road matchup. The price is too cheap for a potential 20+ touches from the back field. Likely to be high owned but good for at least 10 Draftstars points here.

 

Love It - Kyler Murray $21,750

Back from injury, Murray peeled off an immaculate 30 Draftstars points against the Bears despite only throwing for 120 odd passing yards. Despite missing three games the Cards still hold a 10-2 record and is my pay up option out of Kupp and Stafford. 

 

Love It - Zach Ertz $9,310

Can make cases for many of the players in the $9k to 11k range this week but I have landed on Ertz after his one catch last week. You might question that if Murray is not going to throw the ball to his receivers then players such as Ertz and Hopkins are going to be less relevant. However with an extra day of practice for Murray, I am expecting the passing game to go up a notch and Ertz has become a Redzone beast since his arrival to the Cardinals. 

 

Hate It - Darrell Henderson $14,730

Henderson is not playing due to COVID. The reason why I hate it, Draftstars can’t change the status on their selection page due to players on the COVID list. So this is just purely a word of warning on not selecting Henderson. 

 

50/50 Call - James Conner $10,440

With confirmation that Edmond did not return from Injured Reserve, the running back work will remain in the hands of Conner who has been a TD beast all season long. Too cheap now for this slate with Edmond out, I might pump the breaks if playing in tournaments but looks a pretty solid cash play.
