Quinton de Kock ICC Cricket World Cup 2019
Game 5 of the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup will see South Africa take on Bangladesh at The Oval this Sunday night.

This will be the first appearance by Bangladesh at this World Cup, while South Africa will be playing their second game, after they faced England in the Cup opener on Thursday, where they were humbled by the host nation and highest ranked England outfit, losing by 104 runs.

MoneyBall and DraftStars will both be running major contests once again. MoneyBall will have $2,000 on the line in their top contest, which will cost $15 to enter, while DraftStars will have $3,000 up for grabs in their top contest, with the same $15 entry fee. Both sites also have a host of smaller contests that are cheaper to enter, ensuring all budgets are covered.

Match-Winner
The DFR match-winner is a guaranteed stud who might cost you an arm and a leg, but is going to score well on any given night.

Quinton de Kock – SAF ($25,980 DraftStars) ($6,700 MoneyBall)
de Kock is the most expensive player at DraftStars, but given he is both a keeper and opening batsman, he has the highest chance of scoring plenty of points. He has an amazing ODI batting average of 45.78 and scores at almost a run a ball. In his 107 ODI’s he’s had 158 dismissals.

While South Africa were soundly defeated in their opening match of this World Cup tournament, de Kock put up a great performance, scoring 68 runs off 74 balls (the second highest score of the match behind Ben Stokes’ 89 off 79), where he hit 8 boundaries, as well as taking a catch. He’ll be against a weaker team here, suggesting he will have a better chance of matching this performance, if not improving on it.

Night-Watchman
The night-watchmen will be a great point of difference in your team and plugging him somewhere in the middle order could be the difference between winning or losing.

Hashim Amla – SAF ($11,250 DraftStars) ($6,400 MoneyBall)
Amla is South Africa’s other opening batsman and he has an even better batting average than de Kock, being a tick up 50 at 49.52. For an opening batsman with such a brilliant record, he is priced relatively cheaply, making him a solid option, especially against a weaker bowling attack.

Fine-leg to Fine-leg
Anyone who’s played a game of grade cricket before knows that only the duds go from fine leg to fine leg. Avoid these guys like the plague.

Mahmudullah – BAN ($8,000 DraftStars) ($6,700 MoneyBall)
Batting in the lower portion of the middle order and a back-up bowler at best, Mahmudullah is a low chance to score points. With the bat he is a slow scorer, averaging slightly better than a run every 2 balls, while with the ball his average if 45.48 and strike rate is a very high 79.64. He may appear to be cheap of DraftStars, but on MoneyBall he is overpriced. There’s a very real prospect that he won’t score a point in this game.
