NEWS
Sean O’Malley was set to face Marlon Vera, however he failed a drug test and was removed from the bout. He has been replaced by Nohelin Hernandez.
Melissa Gatto has been replaced by Pannie Kianzad in the bout with Julia Avila.
TIPS
The main event, has Jon Jones with a significant arm and leg reach advantage over his opponent. He’s an unorthodox striker, especially with his elbows, knees and feet, so having that reach advantage will make him a clear favourite in this bout. He costs $9,600 and has an average Fantasy score of 96.1, which is one of the top 4 averages of all the fighters available for this contest.
The co-main event will see champion Amanda Nunes the favourite to retain her belt against former champion Holly Helm. Nunes is worth $9,100 and has a brilliant fantasy average of 97.8. She is expected to win this match and could well produce another big score here. Her opponent, Helms, is worth $7,100 and has a healthy fantasy average of 56.5.
Song Yadong has a pricetag of $8,500 but comes with the highest fantasy average for this entire card, at 101. Given he’s not the most expensive and is the favourite to win, while being someone who can produce massive scores, he becomes an option that requires serious consideration.
Jorge Masvidal costs $7,500 and has an average score of 71.7. In his last bout he defeated Darren Till in the second round via knock-out in the Performance of the Night. He scored 103 fantasy points for that bout. He’ll be up against the very impressive Ben Askren (who costs $8,700), who will be in his second UFC bout and is the favourite to win, however this could well be a contest that goes the distance.
