2018 AFL: Round 7 Fantasy Prop Bets
Tough week in AFL fantasy betting tips last weekend as we hit on just one of three bets. We’ll look to bounce back here as we take a look at some of the best value player fantasy bets in the AFL for Round 7 below. There are plenty of great fantasy markets at CrownBet, so make sure you sign up for an account today and take advantage fo their great deposit bonus.
Rory Laird (Adelaide)
Laird has been the most consistent fantasy scorer of the year so far and playing across half back, we doubt he’ll cop a tag any time soon. Comes up against the Blues this weekend who have proven to be the second easiest team in the league to score against. Had 114 last weekend and the Blues allowed the Bulldogs midfield brigade to tear them up in Round 6. Expect Laird to go big here.
TIP: Rory Laird OVER 114.5 fantasy points - $1.88 at CrownBet
Zach Merrett (Essendon)
Is Zach Merrett back? He might just be after three big scores in a row following a woeful start to the year. Seemed to rack up 117 with his eyes closed last weekend and scored a whopping 129 and 115 in his two games against the Hawks last year. Stephen Coniglio has a tough matchup down at the Cattery on Friday night so we expect Merrett to come up trumps here.
TIP: Zach Merrett to outscore Stephen Coniglio - $1.83 at CrownBet
David Zaharakis (Essendon)
More of a bet on Andrew Gaff here than on David Zaharakis as the two go head to head at CrownBet. Andrew Gaff played Port Adelaide three times this year and his last two scores against them saw him score just 83 and 82 points. Zaharakis was big last weekend with 108 points against Melbourne who are one of the harder teams to score against so should go well against the Hawks in Round 7.
TIP: David Zaharakis to outscore Andrew Gaff - $1.93 at CrownBet
