We have two Good Friday fixtures lined up this time around, with North Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs kicking off the action at Marvel Stadium. West Coast host Sydney in the evening fixture, looking to back up their drought breaking win with another big performance at home.

Draftstars have put up $60k in the main contest, as well as a number of other contests.

There's also $20 and $5 AFL $500k Qualifier contests in the Draftstars Lobby for the end of year live event. Check out our article here with all the info regarding the AFL Live Event.

No weather concerns here as the sun will be shining bright in both Melbourne and Perth.

Where to Attack?

All teams have played four matches now and shown their style and method for this year.

It would be expected that cellar dwelling teams concede points to forwards and that has indeed been the case so far this season. Both the Kangaroos and Eagles have leaked scores to forwards and I particularly like Bulldogs forwards on this slate as they start heavy favourites.

Sydney and West Coast have both been teams to target in the ruck division this year, but neither will have their #1 big man playing today. Peter Ladhams is the most senior ruck option but that isn’t saying much, although I think there is value to be had on both sides.

Game Script – Bulldogs stack

VALUE PLAYS

Bailey J Williams ($6,000)

A minimum pricer playing as the first ruck, yes please! Williams has not shown much of a ceiling in his short career so far but we should at least be able to lock him in for 50+ points here in a favourable role.

Cody Weightman ($6,210)

Any Dogs stack should seriously consider Weightman, a forward who can kick a bag of goals on his day and has registered scores of 59 and 71 so far this year.

MID-PRICE PLAY

Luke McDonald ($11,430)

The ball will be spending plenty of time in North’s backline, so who can we expect to be the beneficiaries? Aaron Hall is an obvious one, however with Jack Ziebell going forward I also expect McDonald to get a points bump. He has hit the ton twice this year already.

Peter Ladhams ($9,940)

Ladhams should have the measure of his inexperienced Eagles opponents and has a wide range of score sources from hitouts to disposals and goals. He can be played either in the ruck or down forward on DFS.

PREMIUM PLAY

Aaron Hall ($14,780)

See above on McDonald. I fully expect to see quite a few Hall/McDonald combinations wheeled out in DFS today, a pairing which could easily net upwards of 220 points.
