There are some exciting developments emerging from the team at PlayON with the announcement of a new partnership and a new product that will greatly appeal to DFS players in Australia.

PlayON have today announced a multi-year partnership with the NBA as the official Daily Fantasy Sports provider in multiple markets across Europe, Latin America and Asia - including UK, France, Spain, Italy and Germany in Europe; Brazil, Mexico and Argentina in Latin America; and Australia, Japan and the Philippines in Asia.

What does this mean for DFS players? Well, PlayON will be running larger guaranteed tournaments every day during the NBA Playoffs and Finals, beginning with a $1,000 guaranteed tournament for tonight’s games.

Many of these tournaments have small fields, which means the chances of reaching the cash is very good, so we highly recommend you check them out.

PlayON have also announced the launch of their brand new AFL product which sure to create a stir with DFS players in Australia. The format is similar to what you might expect on other DFS websites. You receive a budget of $100m to spend and you’re required to pick two defenders, three midfielders, two forwards, a ruckman and a flex player. So that’s a total of nine players at an average of $11.1m per player. At the moment, it appears that all games in the round are included with Patrick Dangerfield topping the list at a cost of $17.5m ahead of Tom Rockliff and Adam Treloar at $17m.

Hopefully there will be some bigger guaranteed AFL tournaments added in the coming weeks which will be included in your DFR rankings profile.
