First up on Super Saturday, the 7th placed Eels come into this must win clash against the 12th placed Bulldogs with a huge inclusion, with Mitch Moses making an early return from a broken finger. And with Mick Potter now out of the frame to coach the Bulldogs into next season, will the players aim up as they have been since Potter took over?

Next up the Sea Eagles host the Sharks at 4 Pines Park. The Sea Eagles are currently on a 4-game losing streak, the most in the NRL, and their season has well and truly fallen apart. The Sharks will be looking for their fourth straight win, as they attempt to secure 2nd place on the ladder and a home final in week 1.

Finally, the suddenly hot Roosters host the Tigers at the SCG, in what could be the last game of Rugby League at the famous venue for some time, as the Roosters and Rabbitohs clash in round 25 is scheduled to open the brand-new Allianz Stadium. The Roosters should win this convincingly, in a match-up that could get embarrassing for the Tigers.

Draftstars has a $3,000 contest with $411 to first place. There are also single game contests between $6,000 and $8,000, and several other contests including the Mini, Micro, and the High Roller.

Team News

As outlined above, the Eels have named Mitch Moses to return from a broken finger in the only change for the Eels. Jakob Arthur lurks on the extended bench, however with the Raiders and Roosters playing well, the Eels need a win this week, leading me to believe Moses will play.

The Bulldogs have named the same 17 as their last up loss to the Warriors, however there is talk both Luke Thompson and Tevita Pangai-Junior will return to the 17, with both players surviving the initial team cut.

The Sea Eagles have lost three starters, with Jason Saab (knee), Reuben Garrick (shoulder) and Jake Trbojevic (hand) ruled out. Tolutau Koula shifts to fullback, with Morgan Harper slotting in at centre. Debutant Alfred Smalley starts on the wing. Trbojevic is replaced by Dylan Walker at lock, with Ethan Bullemor starting at 2nd row and Andrew Davey out.

Several changes for the Sharks, with Connor Tracey back after suffering a concussion 2 weeks ago. He replaces Kade Dykes, with Lachlan Miller shifting to fullback. They also welcome Matt Moylan back, pushing Braydon Trindall to the reserves. Toby Rudolf (knee) is out, replaced in the starting side by Braden Hamlin-Uele. Aiden Tolman and Andrew Fifita join the bench, as Jesse Colquhoun drops to the reserves.

The Roosters have made one change, with Oliver Gildart set to make his club debut, with Paul Momirovski out. Siosiua Taukeiaho and Lindsay Collins are at least another week away from returning.

Finally, the Tigers welcome back Ken Maumalo on the wing, shifting Starford To’a to the centres and James Roberts out. Alex Seyfarth also returns on the bench, with utility Tyrone Peachey dropped to the reserves.

Overview

The Eels and Bulldogs played 2 months ago in round 14, with the Bulldogs slaying the Eels 34-4. There is surely more on the line for the Eels in this one, and with Mitch Moses likely back they should be too good for the Bulldogs. Look for both teams’ left edges to get on the scoreboard.

The Sea Eagles season has gone downhill fast, with issues off the field combining with injuries to rule them out of the finals. The Sharks have just continued along with their business, and should be too classy for the Sea Eagles this weekend. The Sea Eagles have conceded the 3rd most tries of any team on the right this season, so look for left edge Sharks players to be given plenty of scoring chances.

Finally, the Roosters should be streets ahead of the Tigers in this one, however both sides have players you should be looking at for your squad. Adam Doueihi and Joe Ofahengaue have been on fire of late, and would not look out of place in your squad.

Love It – Matt Burton - $21,160

Burton had a bit of a down week last week, with his lowest score of the season (29.9). However, he should get chances for attacking stats running at the right edge defence of the Eels. Scored 81 against the Eels in round 14, with 3 try assists and over 600m kicking. He, along with the Bulldogs, could be on the decline now that the season is almost over, however I do believe Burton will be more than up for this clash. He still has some Penrith blood in him, and a clash against the old foe will surely see him rise to the occasion.

Love It – Joseph Suaalii - $13,120

Suaalii continues to impress for the Roosters, now with 14 tries on the season in 16 matches. Coming up against the worst left edge defence in the league this week, Suaalii is surely going to get amongst the points this week. There are some huge prices this week for the OB position, and whilst Suaalii doesn’t have the ceiling of players like Tedesco and Manu, you should be able to select him and expect 1+ tries and a 45+ score.

Love It – Shaun Lane - $20,400

Hasn’t Shaun Lane had a fantastic month? Despite the Eels being up and down, Lane has continually shown up for his Fantasy owners, scoring 67+ in each of his past 4 matches. The even more impressive thing is Lane has managed this without scoring a try. Lane has always been a threat close to the line, and if he can just cross for one try, he will be looking at a game-breaking score for his owners. After scoring 55 against the Bulldog in round 14 in a horribly beaten team, you can select him and be extremely confident in a 55 base.

Hate It – Daly Cherry-Evans - $22,570

DCE’s scores have declined for 4-straight weeks, and whilst I don’t expect him to score lower than his paltry 28.4 from last week, I don’t see him scoring anywhere near enough points to warrant your selection. With several quality HH’s available in this slate, Cherry-Evans cannot be selected. The Sea Eagles season has nose-dived, and I wouldn’t at all be surprised to see them lapped by the Sharks this weekend.

Hate It – Mitch Moses - $19,610

It sounds like Moses is a day-to-day prospect to play this week, however I’m leaning more towards him playing. In such a pivotal matchup, surely the team’s highest paid player will suck it up and play. However, with the broken finger, he will be a little more apprehensive in his play. His passing won’t be as crisp, his tackling technique will change to preserve the finger, and he won’t take on the line as much. With so many good purchases this week at HH, I don’t see Moses being value for money this weekend.

Who Knows – Joseph Manu - $21,180

His move back to the centres has seriously hindered Manu’s output, however this week he could put on a masterclass. The left side defence of the Tigers is horrendous, and with the serious talent the right side of the Roosters have in attack, I can see them bombarding that side all game. We will take the much cheaper right-side attacking weapon in Suaalii this week, however I would not at all be surprised to see Manu go huge.
