Max Verstappen Formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix Red Bull Ring

The 2019 Formula 1 season reaches its first back-to-back weekends of racing, when the Austrian Grand Prix takes place at the Red Bull Ring on Sunday.

Last weekend saw the French Grand Prix take place where Mercedes returned to the top two places on the podium, when Lewis Hamilton scored another race victory, with his team mate Valtteri Bottas running second. The Ferrari of Charles Leclerc ran third.

CONSTRUCTOR

The track in Austria is the home race for Red Bull, however in the first 4 years after the race returned to Austria, it was Mercedes who were victorious. But last year Red Bull finally won on their home track when Max Verstappen picked up the win. Mercedes are always the most expensive constructor, priced at $32.5M, but given they have scored far and away more points than any other this year, the price is justified. Red Bull is at a more reasonable price of $24.3M.

Of the next best outside the top 3 makers, McLaren is priced at $7.8M, making them very attractive. Renault are worth $12.0M and looking more competitive last week.

DRIVERS

Championship leader Hamilton is the most expensive driver, worth $32.1M while his team mate Bottas, who is second in the drivers championship, is worth an attractive $22.5M. Last years winner Max Verstappen costs $25.1M) and should be challenging for a podium as well.

Carlos Sainz is again great value at $8.6M with Toro Rosso’s Daniil Kvyat has the same average fantasy score as Daniel Ricciardo however Kvyat is worth $6.0M to Ricciardo’s $11.0M. Kevin Magnussen costs $9.8M and has been scoring consistently well so far this year.
