AFL Round 2

The AFL season is absolutely cooking now as we just wrapped up round 2, while racing, NBA and other sports also continued to roll on this weekend. We recap all the winners from the biggest competitions across the weekend.

SportChamps

SportChamps was again loaded with racing tournaments to choose from over the weekend headlined by the Saturday Metro Tournaments with two massive single rebuy tournaments. It was Jamielovell_ who took home the Racing $50 Saturday - $15,000 min tournament collecting $2,777.25. While the $5,000 tournament was won by Crownie87 collecting a total of $5,075 in winnings.

TopBetta

TopBetta held racing contests throughout the weekend headlined as usual by their Saturday Metro Gallops events featuring the $2K and $1K contests. The $2K contest was won by PREMIUM who took home the first place prize of $1,350. The $1K contest was won by willingly who too home the $702 first place dividend.

AFL headlined the contests at Draftstars this weekend kicking off Friday night with the AFL $40,000+ Swans v Crows contest. The number 6 ranked DFR member Broady4_ got the win to take home the $5,162.88 first price prize and also finished in equal 5th. The 18th ranked DFR member and our very own NBA and AFL contributor J2thep the was also on the leaderboard taking home equal 3rd and $1,548.90.

In the AFL Saturday $50,000+ all day contest it was clayton23 who dominated the field finishing 1st and 2nd on the back of Port Adelaide stacks to take home over $8,680 in total prizes. Broady4_ was at it against finishing 4th and 8th to win over $2,250.

Finally in the AFL $30,000+ Sunday contest Jbaressi1 who took home first place and $4,806.61. While the 28th ranked DFR member BigHef managed 3rd to place to win $1,663.86. You can hear BigHef’s thoughts on the AFL slates every week on our live show "DFS Down Under".

In the NBA it was Blumey000 who got the win in the NBA $8,000+ Saturday contest to take home the $876.26 first place prize.

Moneyball

In Moneyball’s AFL $5,720 Saturday (All Games) Special  it was Hill19 who cleaned up finishing 1st and 2nd to collect a total of $1,100.
