2020 League of Legends European Masters Fantasy Tips: Wednesday 29th April
Welcome to Wednesday's League of Legends Daily Fantasy preview for DraftKings for Day 5 of the European Masters!
Today’s feature contest is the LOL $100K Shock Blast ($25,000 to 1st) on DraftKings and a $5,000 Elder Dragon for $4 entry.
We moved into week 2 of the schedule where each pool participant played each other once again to determine the knockout stages in week 3.
Here are the current standings of the groups so far:

Today we have only 2 matches on the slate with the participants in Pool B playing three games in a LoL Fiesta! So unfortunately we cannot have the full day’s 6 games on one slate…
DraftKings have however posted further contests for the middle and end of the day. Just keep an eye on market movement when building lineups.
All group play is best of 1 match so the fantasy scoring will be more condensed and you just never know with upsets.
Here are today’s bookies odds with action getting underway at 0200 AEST (Thursday morning) and the current odds from Beteasy as of 0900 AEST
Winless DK will get the day underway with a massive task on overhauling Spanish LVP champions VGIA who are currently undefeated in the tournament whilst French outfit LDLC (2-1) takes on Polish outfit AGO (1-2) who suffered a big loss against the Giants last time out.
As you can see by the early markets, VGIA should win easily and the AGO/LDLC is a coin flip (although a slight edge towards AGO). 12 hours prior, LDLC were 1.75 favourites so you will find AGO players on the cheaper side on DraftKings.
UPDATE - Markets now have LDLC as favourites at 1.78 to AGO 1.97 which I believe is a market correction.
Early Kill total markets have the DK/VGIA at 25.5 Over/Under with a 8.5 spread to VGIA. 28.5 Over/Under is the mark for the 2nd match with a small spread of 1.5 to AGO. So VGIA has the projected highest Kills on the slate at around 17, followed by AGO at 15, LDLC at 13.5 and DK at 11.
Last 3 games Statistics from Pool B (per game)
Pretty clear cut in terms of performance from VGIA that this side is the target for DraftKings contests whether they are cash or GPP. All players have contributed in either Kills or Assists and their average DraftKings points so far is clearly the pools best. A scary fade if you are playing cash lineups.
Not sure I can promote the playing of DK team members against VGIA but if you were to dip your toes here then ADC Goose ($6,800) has merit. You will need to ignore the FPPG on DraftKings as previous matches from the EU Masters Play-in have been added in.
Interesting that LDLC has lost favouritism in the market to AGO (UPDATE - have regained favourtism) but the Polish outfit has found some friends for the win. Outside of JNG Zanzarah, each player has a KPAR of over 60% which tells me that kills and assists are spread out on this team. TOP Szygenda $6,000, MID Czekolad $6,600 and ADC Woolite $7,200 have averaged ~20 DK points per game so far. These three players will be popular in smaller stacks.
The stats look better for LDLC after being involved in some high kill games against VGIA (lost 17 to 27) and RGO on Day 3 (16 to 4). JNG Tynx $7,000 and ADC Hades $7,600 are averaging over 31 FPPG on DraftKings and will be the target of second stacks.
Targets - ADC Attila, SUP Erdote, JNG Tynx, TOP Szygenda, MID Pretty, JNG Lamabear, TEAM VGIA
